a somewhat dated hotel stay

the breakfast had many options. it was a self-service setup that provided everything i needed. the king sized bed in the relaxing courtyard room was very comfortable, though the room was listed as more of a four star.
the beach needed some attention it was dirty, and i saw lots of rubbish. it seemed cleaning only happened when a wedding took place. the gym equipment looked old school. i could tell it had been operating for years but was not well maintained.

the hotel is on the beach. lots of water sports are available. the pool is big and well kept. the restaurant is right by the pool and you can eat looking at the ocean. the breakfast was very good and the lunch and dinner menu has good choices. i discovered a new dish, nasi goreng.
the rooms felt old. the outside walls was brown. the shower curtains was dirty in our room. basically the things in our room looked old & stained. i tried to contact them prior to arrival but i did not get a response.

the hotel is nearby attractions, such as the museum, accessible by a short taxi ride. the common areas was designed with beautiful open and airy concepts. it was good.

the restaurant provided a vast breakfast choice. it changes every day and caters for all dietary preferences. i found this good as i always had option and something new to look forward to at breakfast.

The pool was large and clean. I liked that the hotel offered beachfront access. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout my visit (especially at the reception desk).
The hotel's location had limited options for evening entertainment.

My room had an excellent view of the pool area and included two separate sinks in the bathroom. The room featured modern furnishings and a comfortable king-size bed, I felt at home. Reliable Wi-Fi was available.

The large pool area included many loungers and a shaded section for relaxation. I noticed the hotel is well maintained and clean. A spa provided various treatments.
